Will the selections all be updated on the 1st page?
Don't know if it would make it better, but maybe there should be a thread just to make and record picks - then we can all comment on them here?
* Edit - Thinking maybe we should also give some leeway on the time to make picks. Since it;s the weekend and a holiday and all, I'll be around, but others may not be around as much - and for whatever reason I'm actually looking forward to seeing how this plays out (hopefully with everyone able to make their pick).

Do you think that is a stretch?
I don't think he'd be there for their next pick and for some reason I just feel Carroll is going to want/need a multi-purpose threat like this. With this pick I LOVE the potential for Seattle's draft. Having another pick in the first I believe (and why I picked it lol) they can get the best "playmaker" in the draft here with Spiller. Still have a mid-first round pick to sure up the line or get a potential defensive starter. Then to top it off either Benn, Thomas or Tate may very well be around to get a solid WR for their second round pick.

Not really a stretch in Seattle's case if they anticipate someone going after Spiller before their 2nd 1st rounder. But it would still get that reaction in NYC.

There are alot a couple of mocks out there with this being CJ's spot. And IMHO, he is the starter from Day 1, and starting KRer too.

Yep, I've made a couple of mocks with him there in the past. However, analyzing it further, it's basically them trying to figure out what the 49ers are up to at #13. I don't think anyone else is a threat for Spiller that doesn't have bigger needs to fill first.
If they are convinced the 49ers will go with a best player available pick at #13, they are forced into taking him at #6 if they are really that interested. If they aren't convinced, they could go with Eric Berry at #6 and then go with an OT or Spiller at #14. And then take one of the OT's or RB's that slides into the 2nd round, depending on what occurs with everyone else.

I was surprised to see recent rumors that the Dolphins may be interested if he falls to #12.
Then again, I think there's about 6-7 players heavily rumored for that pick and you can make an argument for any of them. :lol:
If there's any truth to that, I think quite a few teams may have him higher on the board then they let on....so I could see a few teams going after him if their initial #1 guy goes off the board earlier then expected.
