I just got back from my trip to the Long Island National Card show at Hofstra University in New York and bought a few boxes that I decided to rip. One of them is this 2010 Topps Finest box. I didn’t get to buy it when it first was released earlier this month, and was intrigued and hoping to get redemption #1, which is Jason Heyward. I think that Topps is going to jam Hewyard in every product offering they have this year, in hopes that he will boost sales in their products. Their plan seems to be working as boxes of Finest has jumped from its initial release price of $77 per box to now over $100. I got this box for $95, which is fair price. Here is how I did:
Refractors:
John Lannan
Neil Walker
Clayton Kershaw
Cole Hamels
Curtis Granderson
David Wright
Pedro Viola
Blue Refractors:
Kendry Morales
Brandon Webb
John Lannan
Gold Refractors:
Matt Carson
Letter Autos:
Daniel McCutchen “E” 40/106
Josh Thole “T” 48/284
Redemption #5, which is still unknown. Hopefully the 5 will be Strasburg when he makes his debut later this year. I think this was a pretty brutal break and I hope to get some more boxes at lower prices as more products come out and the price of Finest moves down toward the $85-90 range.
