2 words for ya Daniel Thomas the guy is a beast and he usually breaks the 1st tackle and could be one of the hardest RB's in the NCAA to tackle.

If Michigan ends up 8-4 I guarantee you Denard will win the Heisman. There is no way they end up with that good of a record without him going off every week they scratch out a win.

And I'm a Michigan fan...

I would agree but K-state sucks to much for Daniel Thomas to win it.

You don't HAVE to play on a great team to win the Heisman if you put up crazy ridiculous numbers. IF Robinson continues what he's been doing, he's going to be hard to not vote for. I think he can do it if he doesn't get hurt. Michigan's D is horrible. He's going to get plenty of chances.

It is a good point that if they finish 8-4 he probably will have gone off many games. I doubt they win 8, but I still think he goes off in big scoring losses.

I'm probably biased (big Michigan fan) but Robinson can do it. Hopefully they pull away from Bowling Green so they can sit Denard for the second half. I don't know if he can make it through a full season doing what he's been doing. Their defense is terrible, but to be quite honest and putting aside my love for the program, they've got a great shot of going 9-3. On paper the only games they lose are OSU Penn St. and Iowa.

Wisconsin is overrated and has had some injuries. I'm not saying it won't be a tough game, but I think Michigan is the better team. That's not to say that they won't randomly lose to a subpar team (they play Michigan St. the day after my birthday so I'm ready for a letdown), but this is the best offense Michigan has had in years. Years. They aren't there yet but they're on the verge. I hope they surprise me. I picked them at 8-4 this year. With Denard though, there's no way they start out 5-0 and he doesn't will them to 4 more wins out of 7. You don't see talent like this too often.

And it's everything but official...you're going to see Senior Denard vs. Alabama in 2012 in Dallas. Oh boy.

He's fine....just hit the ground goofy is all. Good to see Gardner getting some quality playing time. Forcier has even gotten in! Hopefully they don't have to put Denard back in, he could use the time off.

Since the BCS came about the only guy not in a BCS bowl to win is Ricky Williams.

My Top 3 right now would probably be Moore, Robinson and not sure if anyone's mentioned him - but Taylor Martinez the QB from Nebraska.
Nebraska has a great chance to run the table and that'll keep him right up there if they do that.

Looks like Ingram may also be jumping right back into contention.

I agree about Martinez he is a beast. Personally i think hes much better then Robinson and on a much better team. I would like to see them too in a foot race.

Top 5 on the Heisman list right now.

1:Cam Newton- Auburn
2:LaMicheal James- Oregon
3:Kellen Moore-Boise
4:Andrew Luck-Stanford
5:Justin Blackmon-Oklahoma St

Yea i might be a little biased but shouldn’t Ricky Stanzi at least be mentioned on this? I think he is the best passing QB out there right now.

Cam Newton-
att cmp cmp% yds yds/a long TD INT Sack RAT
162 108 66.7 1573 9.7 94 15 5 12 172.6

Kellen Moore-
att cmp cmp% yds yds/a long TD INT Sack RAT
179 125 69.8 1865 10.4 58 18 2 3 188.3

Andrew Luck-
att cmp cmp% yds yds/a long TD INT Sack RAT
226 152 67.3 1920 8.5 81 20 6 3 162.5

Ricky Stanzi-
att cmp cmp% yds yds/a long TD INT Sack RAT
197 135 68.5 1922 9.8 66 19 2 12 180.3

Yea for Cam you gotta figure in the rushing part. I still think Ricky should at least get some consideration.

Stanzi is second in passer efficiency rating.

I don't think he's a Heisman candidate, but I'll give him credit - he's light years better than he was last year

I don't get why DeMarco Murray or Ryan Broyles aren't getting mentioned. Both are having great years and hell DeMacro is I still believe the top RB prospect for the draft.

Murray is pretty good but i think Daniel Thomas or Noel Divine are the best running backs going into the draft.

We all know how this works, that being said, at THIS point, you have 2 choices......
Cam Newton
LaMichael James
I would believe that SEC would get it's love as it seems three quarters of the nation still don't know that Oregon is a state, so I'd be inclined to believe that the voters would reward Cam.....that kills me to say with a father that graduated from Bama in '73.

It's Newton and everybody else. You could put him on any one of the top 30 teams in the country and they would be in the national championship picture. You couldn't say the same for James.

Listen man, I know Newton is this year's flavor and all but that's just absurd. If James gets to 2,000 yards/20 TDs AND Oregon stays undefeated he will win it over Cam if Auburn loses.

I dont think so. I think the fact that the sec is homered by every college football annalist helps Cam win it.
