Well, it appears that Razor has listened about getting as many of the offensive players involved as possible...and they are taking it a step further.

They currently have secured autographs from 90 players so far and are expecting that everyone (including the injured players) will sign (over 100 players). Also, they are looking to add some of the alums from this game to the autograph set and considering some of the huge names that have appeared in this, that could be a great addition.

Depending on the box break, this could be a great break.

Thanks for the heads-up, I am very interested to see how this is set up (autos per box) in a wax format.

I am all about this set, loved it last year as well.
How do they get these guys to sign though? They can't pay them correct?

UPDATE #2:
Possibly up to 20% of the autographs will be on-card and there will be some parallels including 1/1s and some inscriptions.

Of note, these updates are coming in as the Army All-American practices are going on.

For anyone interested in the roster (and therefore the autographs) go to the official Army All-American website at:
http://www.usarmyallamericanbowl.com/

I want one of those mini helmets so bad, but $37 is a little too steep in my opinion.

Sounds interesting. If they can get Tebow, it would be his first and a huge selling point early.

Looking at these rosters and then checking their stats and commitments on Rivals.com, there are some studs in this game.
Partial List just for QBs alone, these guys are going to:
BYU
Cal
Texas
Michigan State
West Virginia
Penn State
Lets just say, for example, Connor Wood, who is going to Texas, puts up numbers like Colt McCoys and is taking his team to a National Championship. Could you imagine what it would be selling for this week? I may have to invest heavily in this product depending on price.

I almost bought a box of this stuff last year, but it looks like I'll almost certainly have to look at getting some this year. Interesting product.

BG explained it last year
They had reps running up and down the field/tunnel saying"Who wants to be on a football card?"
Not trying to be funny or sarcastic. That is the truth since the players cannot get paid.
Which 17-19 year old wouldn't want to be on a card?

He was on the initial sell sheet last year but then it changed and he was removed. I wonder if it had to do with eligibilty. Should be interesting if he is added

Real good chance to have some nice names land on this year's checklist.
Could make last year's auto checklist look brutal (Bryce Brown was the obvious front runner with Savage coming thru as season progressed...too many of the others = defense or linemen)

I didn't notice Razor on the long list of sponsors. I thought Razor had some kind of generous deal where they gave back to the event? If so, it would be nice if they were given some kind of recognition as being a sponsor

Part of it is also that freshman take time to develop. Clemson had four players with autos (3 with base). The 3 with base and autos were all offensive, but redshirted so there was not a huge market for them yet. The other was defensive at least. Defense still needs to be represented since they are there too and can turn out to be All Americans as well.

All 96 players who are currently at the event have now signed for this product with a few more possibly coming tomorrow.

Razor has also secured the rights to 40+ jerseys from this event and will be putting these in as well, including jumbo size swatches, patches, etc. To me, this is a huge thing, as last release the Bryce Brown jersey was fine...but there were roughly 2000 of them.

This is getting more and more interesting (to me at least) as the days go on.

Based on last year's sales, base cards of ex-players were dead

The majority of the hobby wants GU/Autos

Looking forward to seeing the names of the HS kids that made the auto list

The more is not always the merrier if the more includes non-skilled position players

It is my understanding that each and every player signed for this set...including the injured kids selected but unable to play.

It will be a big autograph set again, but everyone is included allowing for less mystery as to the autographs. Like everything it will be hit or miss, but the box breakdown for this product will be interesting to see when it is released.

Hello everyone I havent posted her in a while but do follow the boards. I was able to attend the US All Army Bowl and had a chance to meet and greet with most of the players. As some of you know Razor handed out cards at the game. At the conclusion of the game Razor held a autograph session were the majority of the players were signing for fans. I was lucky enough to get some signed there and later at the hotel. Players were handing out cards whenever asked for autographs. Here are the scans of cards I was lucky enough to obtain:
