I'm a little surprised they are including BC cards in here...that's odd.

I don't like dual autographs in general...

That being said, I do like TC football, its one of the nicest, most affordable brands around.

There is no bowman chrome football this year, it's now an insert set.

Then I say do away with it all together.

I'll put the set together again this year. I don't really like Bowman Chrome as an insert set, though.

I wonder what the odds on alumni autographs are

that checklist is quite good

If you're me, it's 1:INFINITY

That means that there's still a chance, though.

Really I think the rookie photo shoot turned out a lot better giving it an overall better look this year. And really the only good thing Bowman Chrome was good for there was rookies in that product you probably couldnt find in most other products.

I really wish they would save those auto/patch cards for Topps Finest. It was a turn off last season, and still is this season.

They also made the window of the auto/patch in the outline of the NFL Shield, which opens the door for forgers to throw in the NFL logo patch and makes it look like it belongs. ::facepalm::

I miss Red Refractors /5 already.

Wow, I'm really a downer today  ...

The design on the cards is pretty nice. I like the fact that they'll be numbering cards on the front for these. I'm also glad that there will be some Bowman Chrome in them rather than no Bowman Chrome at all.

Looks like Jimmy Graham only has a non-auto, so things should be easy to pursue for him.

Red refractors in Topps Chrome have been /25 for a while now. Bowman chrome have been /5. I'm not sure if I like serial numbering on the front. I really liked it on the back, honestly. On the front just seems to take something away.

I knew that about the Reds, but with no Bowman Chrome product (only the inserts), there is no more Red /5. I would have like to see the /5 property transition to TC.

I gotta say, I am not a fan of printing something behind the auto. To me, it takes away from the auto. Do you really need it in two places on the front of the card (referencing the Tebow card)?

I can do without the patch auto. Don't really like it when they are crowbaring the jersey in like that. To me at least it looks really tacky and just seems out of place in TC.
Other autos look nice though.

For whatever reason I never seem to buy boxes of Topps Chrome but usually do pick up blasters. Probably since it's so tough to pull a good rookie auto...tend to be able to get a lot of the rc's and inserts out of the $20 blasters.

Especially close to release, Chrome blasters are usually a better purchase. Take last year. In a hobby box, you get a scrub rookie auto, a small handful of regular refractors and a single bronze refractor. Three blasters, which at $60 is about the same price as a hobby box, might not get you an auto but you'll get the regular refractors, blue refractors, some xfractors and probably a bronze refractor or two. No chance at a superfractor in retail, but the odds are against you there anyways.

Pat Angerer and Amari Spievey Supers to chase! Very surprised Bryan Bulaga and Tony Moeaki aren't appearing in the base set at all - I figured either one of them would get in over Spievey.
