On eBay - it really does pay to be first. That's unreal

What do you mean by first? It's a 2010 card.
You didn't hear?
The 2010 Black Refractors that were left over are the exclusive bonus cards in the 2012 Topps Heritage Value Boxes.

What's the deal with the Black Refractors? Are they rarer than they should be at /62?

I may have seen one of the guy i collect, Bronson Arroyo. And I can't even be sure of that.

I prefer to not read before 8:00AM, so instead, I just talk out of my ass [/quote:3kz6vz18]
It's ok man. I too thought it would be a 2012. I'm glad I can pick up an Oswalt for under $15.

Jeter stuff, across the board, has been on fire. Collecting Will Clark is hard enough, but I feel sorry for those that collect Jeter, it's soooo expensive. Just look up anything Jeter numbered less than 100, it's all selling high.

...but, but its serial numbered 063/563 - and 63 represents the year the set honors! Didn't you know...

I'm just happy the seller didn't put 1/1 in the title.

I'm kidding about all this of course :)

A dozen years or so ago a card like this would easily sell for 25 bucks.

not every pack/box/case gets opened, and not everyone sells on ebay, so chances are out of the 63
available in this years set, maybe 20-30 of each player get listed on ebay, if that?

Wonder if it would have sold for even more if the seller spelled "chrome" correctly....

Didn't even see that. Also didn't put refractor in the title.

Although I'm sure Jeter and Heritage collectors had no problem finding this card.
