Pretty crappy hits from the 3 boxes. Pulled 9 code cards. Didn't realize it until I was sorting at home, but pulled 2 NNO mini's of Delmon Young and Shane Victorino. They've been a print run of /50 in the past, but haven't seen any definitive numbers yet for this years print run. Also pulled one of the Flora cards that you plant and watch 'em grow.

All the UPTON swatches are plaid.
What's up with that?

whoa, whoa, whoa....

Did you see the lable? "Player Worn Memorabilia" WTF is that? You could technically have gotten this **** from the clothes that Upton donates to the Salvation Army. Total BS.

I don't know. I think the plaid swatches are kind of cool.
If I was a Tampa fan, it would be a cool little piece of history and better/more unique than the standard white cloth swatch (which you could also say "who kons where it came from").

Or do people not remember the plaid blazers they wore as a sign of team unity?

The manager of the Rays has a memorabilia card that has a plaid swatch. Did they wear a special (& stupid) jersey?

The Upton is a Travel-Day Worn piece of memorabilia according to the back of the card. I was telling Gilmore it looked like a piece of his plaid boxers. It could be anything he wore on the plane or on the bus. Why would Topps even put shat like that in a product? Really stupid IMO.

The Rays have "Themed Road Trips". Allen & Ginter is a product about culture, history and tying in unusual memorabilia with the baseball card world. One of the many reasons why this product is so loved is because they are able to "keep it fresh" year in and year out with unique items. If I'm a big Rays fan and I saw the guys come to the park dressed as... whatever, I think it would be cool to have a piece of that versus another plain white $.99 (maybe) jersey card.

i already posted this in another thread.... they do special Roadtrip themes and this is from last year around July I believe, when they wore golf pants

I'm not a big game-used fan but I think these are pretty cool. you at least know when these were worn, as opposed to a stupid white/grey boring swatch

What's the deal with the FCB shop? Did you buy them from the internet? Does FCB have an actual storefront? The link at the top of the page doesn't have any '11 Allen Ginter. I have noticed they never update their stock, been the same forever. Could someone fill me in?

Negative. Too late to plant it here. It's an annual. Maybe next year if I still have it.

Georgia Natural Gas sent out a postcard with embedded wildflower seeds that you plant, but it didn't grow last year.
