I have no clue how Scottsdale is sub .500. With Trout and Harper on the same team, Hank Conger, I mean seriously.

Tomorrow at 8 they are FINALLY going to show an AFL game on MLB Network. I am sick of having to watch it on the game-day thing lol.

In his 4th AB, Harper hit an RBI single and extended his hitting streak to 13 games.

Nolan Arenado went 4-5 with 3 Doubles tonight. He is now batting .407 in AFL play.

What an animal.

Have you gotten any good offers out of your red?

A couple pretty solid ones that I have considered, but I decided that they were too low based on where this card has been, what he's doing right now in the AFL, and what I think he's going to continue to do moving forward. At this rate he's going to be one of the top contenders for AFL MVP.

The most tempting were the offers I received in the $100-$125 range......since that's barely more than Blue Refs currently sell for. I'm not the kind of person to ever get offended by offers, but man, some of these make me laugh when I see them.

Rising Stars Game From AFL

Posted Nov. 5, 2011 6:30 pm by John Manuel
Filed under: All-Star Games, Arizona Fall League

SURPRISE, Ariz.—Batting practice is over here at the Rising Stars Game in the Arizona Fall League. Here's a few quick observations from pregame, plus today's lineups:

• Bryce Harper is the DH tonight, which gives him a better chance of playing the entire game. Harper has hit five home runs in his last seven games here and has a 13-game hitting streak.

"Even his line drives sound different," said one American League scout. "He's the real deal."

• Several other players impressed with their BP turns other than Harper. Royals farmhand Wil Myers struggled during the regular season, but you couldn't tell by the way he's swinging it in the AFL. He's hitting .384/.505/.685 with five doubles, four triples and three home runs, and the coaches on the West all-stars said his hands are as quick as anyone in the league. He had easy power in BP.

• Starters Gerrit Cole (Pirates) and Danny Hultzen (Mariners), the No. 1 and No. 2 selections in this year's draft, will face each other as the game's starters. They're expected to pitch two innings apiece.

• The lineups, with the visiting East up first:

Robbie Grossman (Pirates), RF
Mike Trout (Angels), CF
Junior Lake (Cubs), SS
Nolan Arenado (Rockies), 3B
Bryce Harper (Nationals), DH
Derek Norris (Nationals), C
Ben Paulsen (Rockies), 1B
Brian Dozier (Twins), 2B
Tim Wheeler (Rockies), LF

Gerrit Cole (Pirates), RHP

West All-Stars

Kevin Mattison (Marlins), CF
Nick Franklin (Mariners), SS
Wil Myers (Royals), RF
Mike Olt (Rangers), 3B
Michael Choice (Athletics), DH
Joe Terdoslavich (Braves), 1B
Jaff Decker (Padres), LF
Christian Bethancourt (Braves), C
Christian Colon (Royals), 2B

Danny Hultzen (Mariners), LHP

Got it on MLB Network now. I was watching the All-star thing. MLB has owned Taiwan. No surprise really; those guys are so young and haven't seen talent such as Robbie Cano or Micheal Morse or Curtis Granderson before.

Its crazy how there is like no one there. If I lived there I would be there no doubt. I have had more people at my high schools games than are at this one with top prospects in baseball.

I agree! I'd imagine tickets are dirt cheap. People are stupid; i'd be there all the time.
