Looks good. Looking forward to the Banuelos, Lollis, and Sampson autos.

I'll post my opinions about this product as a whole in a few, but at first glance, I gotta ask:

What does Eric Hosmer have to do to get an autograph????

::facepalm::

Oh no, there goes the value of A.J. Cole, McNutt, Segura, Turner, Colvin, and Ranauldo Elites....

Holy ton of autos.

Martin and Lawrie both former Razor guys.

Nice to see Aaron Hicks on there, he was a Razor guy too. But why have players who had base chrome in Bowman have them in Bowman Chrome too? I thought I saw multiple names, Harper, Arcia, Banuelos.

I love how they accentuate "never-before-seen" prospect cards and then they recycle guys like Jean Segura, Melky Mesa, Chris Archer, Peter Tago and Randall Delgado...not to mention they have Delgado on the list twice.

That's because, knowing Topps, this list is going to change 3 days before release.

Ok, here are my thoughts, all told.

Pros

1) The base prospect set looks MUCH better than 2011 Bowman's. Includes the first ever cards of Jiwan James and Carlos Martinez, as well as the first Topps cards of Skaggs, Castellanos, Ranaudo and Marisnick.
2) The on-card autograph checklist looks very good overall. Includes Hicks' and Lyles' first Topps auto, as well as Ranaudo and international prospect Luis Heredia. McNutt will do well. Lawrie and Turner will do even better. (Why exactly are these out of numerical sequence on the sheet, though?)
3) Prospect base refractors #d to 500? Works for me.
4) USA 18U redemption packs. I like this concept, but I hope Topps doesn't take long to redeem them.
5) Not a fan of inserts, but I like the 2001 BC 10th Anniversary throwback cards.

Cons

1) I'll say it again - WHEN is Hosmer going to get a Topps auto? They included Lyles, Lawrie and Hicks as autos (all were Razor guys), so why not him????
2) Is this 2005 BCDP? Why do we need a second 1/1, especially when it wasn't in 2011 Bowman? NOT a fan of the Canary Diamonds.
3) Repetition in the prospect base set - Banuelos, Morrison and Arcia already had them in Bowman, just to name three. Boooooo.
4) I don't mind bringing back Bowman's Best, but ANOTHER Harper? C'mon, you guys can find more than just him.
5) I thought I was looking at 2011 Bowman at first when I saw the Green MLB Rookie CL - more repetition here, too.
6) Micro-Fractors? Fusion-fractors? Future-fractors? PLEASE. I'd like to find the guy who came up with this premise and knee him in the jewels.

Overall though, I'd say this is better than Bowman.

I'd give it a solid B+.

checklist looks good, but why duplicate Bowman's Best guys? I wouldn't mind it if they had Bowman's Best in every product, but at least use guys who weren't already in it!

I am not ripping any of it though.

I hope they take arcia out. Will have to dump my stash if they don't

The fact that Carlos Martinez is completley absent from the checklist ( not even a base chrome?) is extremeley disapointing to me.

As a Rangers fan.....blah.
Miguel Veleazquez? On the restricted list the whole year. He's done as a prospect.
Roman Mendez? Nice but I want an auto.
Luke Jackson? See Mendez. Listed twice as BCP124 & BCP 219.

That would be the 27 year old Washington Nationals Carlos Martinez.
