Canary Diamond cards have the same odds of being pulled as Superfractors and both are 1/1s, but are Canary Diamond 1/1s the same in terms of value as their Superfractor counterparts. I sold one and am wondering if I left money on the table.

It was a 1st Bowman Chrome Card Prospect, and I saw that someone got $150 for one they pulled and I was hoping to get $150 for my player (Alex Dickerson on the Pirates) and got it!

But Im starting to wonder if I sold too low?

I would say Superfractor are the more coveted of the two. I don't really know much about Dickerson, so I can't really say if you sold too low or not. $150 for a piece of cardboard is pretty good though.

Supers probably get a little more - maybe because people aren't as likely to search on 'canary'. But sometimes someone with one will be willing to pay more for the other just to get both.

Whatever the case, I tend to think having multiple 1/1s from the same set reduces their value at least a little bit.

If it was a BIN for 150.00 and someone hit it, and hit it fast and quick like a date on prom night, then just you left money on the table. I not really sure and you may never really know too.
Well sometimes but......
I look it this way. If I bought the box for XX or even a pack for XX if I make more then what I spent then it works for me.
Since I never bust anything going in thinking I'll hit the lottery, I just take what I get if is is what I say I want when I list it.

I would say 150 for Dickerson 1/1 with his college production and the fact that he has no auto was leaving money on the table.

Hi, since you didn't give me any chance to up my offer you definately left money on the table. Just for future reference you should at least acknowledge a offer with too low or sorry its gone, for reference I was only 25 under what you took.

If the person that bought your card wants to make a quick $100 bucks please PM me.

How much? $25-$50 at most Im assuming? I only had 1 sale to base my guesstimate for how much it would sell for. When I saw someone got $150 for their 1/1 canary diamond of Matt Harrison, my 1st thought was "id love to get $150 for mine".

I looked Dickerson up and found out he was drafted 37th overall (Harrison drafted 50th overall) - so I thought I might be able to get a little bit more for Dickerson, and thats where I erred. I probably could and should have maybe waited for higher offers. I put it up for 349 OBO and was so happy to get an offer of $150 so I took it because thats really what i was hoping and thinking I could get for it. Maybe could have gotten a bit more eh? Lesson learned for the future, but atleast this wasnt a ridiculous card that I made a major mistake on and left a ton of money on the table, next time Ill be more careful.

Thanks for the input guys

Yes I would pay that for it as a max offer. My first offer was what it was a first offer. If you would have let me know there was a higher offer I would have beat it. It's called negotiating but it seems you just took the highest first offer, which is fine buy you left money on the table.

If the person wants to make a quick flip I have put my offer out there. I will let you know if he sells it to me. I guarantee you 1000000000000000000% that if he offers it to me for $250 I will buy it.

Glad it went to a personal collection, and not to ebay. It would have gone into my Pirates personal collection.

Card is on the way. Enjoy. In response to the dude who sent me the offer of $125 - I apologize, I was going to send you a counter offer of, but once I saw the offer I was after I snap accepted, which is something I regret. I should have just fielded offers for a week and got the word out.

I apologize to you for not sending a counter, I hear ya and I really was going to but didnt.

No problem man, it was your card and it went to a good home. Dickerson is an interesting player and has some power which the Pirates don't have much of that is why I was collecting him.

I am also collecting Adrian Houser as he is from my home town (very very small town in Oklahoma) and the guy with the super wants silly money for it IMO on Ebay.

Sorry if I came off uptight but you may have only one shot at some of these cards and I do wish I had sent a stronger first offer but I offered on the Houser at the same time and was worried about over extending myself but when the Houser deal fell through I did have more cash to offer on the Dickerson.

I offered $350 on the Houser super and was still $200 off what he wanted.
