Since we're doing it this way, this is what i'm bringing up and I still say the same thing, no you cant post whatever the hell you want in any thread. This thread was derailed and thats what i'm also bringing up.

If you or anyone else wanted to discuss a ****** card, this was not the thread for it.

Just read the thread.

I personally don't mind a ****** cut. He was a piece of crap (to say the least) of a human being, but its just a piece of paper with his name written on it. It's history whether people like it or not.

If you don't like the card or are offended, don't buy it. If you pull it, sell it and make BANK! Hell, I pulled this from Leaf last year and it is a GREAT conversation starter.

No they have crappy silver sticker autos that net you 1/3 of the price of a box. Grab bag, slot machine, whatever.

I don't buy Leaf products at all but BG has been doing a lot in the hobby that isn't being done. Someone commented about the Ali, Rose and Lombardi sets. Great idea for Icons. It's funny ready Gregg Kohn's twitter feed as he writes his anger, yet someone accuses BG of being the unprofessional one.

Calling leaf a grab bag in comparison to other companies is just incorrect. Panini and Topps products are absolutely the same thing right now. Buy a box of Tier One, Marquee, TTT, Sterling and you get the same thing. For Panini you have every product that gives you Rookie Free Agent autos with a hundreds of paralleled "hits". Anybody tried 2011 Gold Standard Football? Good Grief, one of the worst sets for the price of all time. $200 a box?

Speaking of that, what about Panini and their price fixing campaign? Talk about harming the collector.

So before you get all uppity with your anti BG campaign, why don't you talk about what the other companies are doing?

TTT, Tier 1, Marquee, and Sterling have slabbed, secondary market purchased topps cards?

It was I that first mentioned ******, because it pisses me off. I mentioned it & discussed it in the Oval Office thread (if that is where you think it belongs lol) and although I'm sure BG read my rant there he chose to ignore it. So once I had his attention in this thread I mentioned the ****** issue here and we discussed it.

It's funny how some people have to actually post that they don't approve of the turns the original discussion takes, as if there are rules about such things.
