Okay let's get this started right!

A festive bubble mailer arrived to me two weeks ago. Inside were three great items that all were welcomed warmly into my permanent collection.

The first was a signed index card. It's a signature of a great third baseman, many say the best of his time. Hall of Famer in 1975. By all accounts a hell of a ballplayer, and a welcome addition to my ***** league collection.

Second item was another *****-leaguer auto, a man I adore as being a truly great human being and ambassador of baseball. Being a lifelong Cubs fan, the card has added significance. Love the on-card auto. Buck was the first black baseball coach, and this card captures him in that capacity.

Now the third item, let me just say "Thank You, Santa!" Here's a card that I've long admired in another MTers awesome collection. Was thinking I may never find my own version of it since there are only 4 copies of it. But my Santa found one of the other 3 and now I'm the lucky second MTer to have a copy in their PC. I really didn't think my Secret Santa would be able to find a Mark Grace card I didn't own, but our MT brothers are resourceful. I know where this card was listed and I know that it was being held hostage, so a thousand thanks to my SS for finding a way to pry it loose. This is one card I'll certainly treasure, and will look great on markgrace.com!

Awesome job Secret Santa! Merry Christmas everybody. Cheers to all the Santas, and especially George for coordinating!
