I've decided to put together one set per year and it's looking very likely that Heritage will be it next year. I'm just about done with the Topps 206 from this year.

The base look incredible as always but I especially love the insert designs this year.

I am seriously considering collecting the Yankee team sets from this and past Heritage issues. I have been working on a checklist today.
Good idea - I always do a separate Dodger set. Are you getting the checklists from teamsets4u?

Looking very good. When's it come out? Somewhere around March right?

Cool! I'm sure you've got most, if not all, of the Dodgers completed already.

Yes, I have been using that site and the OPG to verify the variations, the SPs and now the Super SPs. Nearly finished, working on the BVs now. There are approximately 150 Bowman Heritage and 300 Topps Heritage cards on my list.

This should be a great looking set. My only complaint is that I wish they'd do a bit less on the Clubhouse Collection and more vintage and current stars in the Real Ones autos. I'd rather have Banks and Castro Real Ones than the dual, even though it is a very nice card.

Are there going to be green-tinted SP parallels?
This is what I'm hoping for. If I had to wager, I'd bet on yes - hopefully they do some pose variations within the green tints as well.

As far as the black refractors go, I'd love to see them keep the wood grain and integrate it with the black instead of putting a solid black border around the wood grain. Does that make sense?

I think I understand. Have the black border with some lines inside of the black to give a wood grain look? That could be interesting.
yep - that's exactly what I was driving at.

it's been done before...1999 bowman chrome

Interesting idea. Since this release will mark when The Mets started, i may have to add this to my Mets Topps Master Set Collection

Last year Frank Robinson had three autos in the set.

Real One Auto.
Clubhouse Collection Auto.
Stadium Seat Auto.

i would imagine Castro and Banks will have regular autos. maybe not.

I love the base set! I could do with the ugly Flashback and New Age Performers and the relics/autos.

Too bad one can't buy a box without the ugly stuff (unless it's probably called retail. ;) I may just buy retail of this stuff if it's made so I get more base cards.

Can't wait for this set. Still working on a few holes on my 2001-2010 sets, but they're 99% finished.

hey Brian! Have you checked into the CU thread yet? I assume you'll be trading over there again, too.

Oh yeah. I plan on trading again this year, although I have to admit it seems like the CU trading group has been dwindling ever since 2005.

Yup...the Etching prosses will bring out the grain just like in Halonut's '99 BC example.
