Any interest in this? Some good games tonight, as Michigan scored 100 for the first time in 5 years and Kentucky almost lost. Also MSU lost. Yay college basketball!

Should be some interest in this thread brewing now. Kentucky already has 3 losses, and Butler just beat Indiana tonight in the best game of the year so far.

Michigan looks really good so far.

Best college game of the year so far. Just crazy...I can't believe Butler made those 2 threes, and then the kid on the baseball scholarship makes the game winner. This is why I love college sports.

That IU - Butler game was tremendous.

Plus, it's soooo cool that Brad Stephens has stayed there.

BTW, if you didn't see Arizona's comeback Saturday nite versus Florida, it's worth checking out the last coupla minutes in the Replay.

Not a game result, but the 7 hoops-only teams in the "Big East" are leaving for their own Conference. I think it's Great but there is no way the remaining teams will survive together...

As a diehard Cuse fan I hated to leave Big East... that said it's all about football $$ and I'm glad they were proactive. Would hate to be UConn right now.

As a die hard Cuse fan you're probably not liking today. A lot of top 25 teams lost though.

In NC we are hearing the Carolina Blue sky CRACKING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That brings happiness to alot of fans --------- not hearing - seeing them parade after a win and excuses after a loss . A win has meant front page and a loss is two days later on page four .

Kentucky hasn't looked good early on but with this year in college hoops being the weakest I've ever seen, I still think we could make a run come tournament time. Could also be a year a so called mid-major like Gonzaga makes a serious run.

Tonight, Minnesota beat Michigan St., NC State blew out a mid major. Indiana only beat Iowa by 4, and Gonzaga barely beat Okie St. Michigan opens Big Ten play on Thursday against Northwestern.

I'm ALOT more impressed by the Zags win than you are.

And big day for Big East schools on Saturday. Without a pending TV deal, the 7 leaving schools could be out after this year, which would likely end any expansion and cripple the league, maybe even be the eventual Death-stroke...

Outside of last year which was the first time in awhile there was an obvious "best team" all year, this year is one of the strongest years for the sport in the last decade. Duke and Michigan look amazing. I agree Kentucky could make a run but it seems they still need to work on getting in.

There won't be any undefeated teams or runaway champs this year, but to call this year weak is way off, IMO. It's just weak for Kentucky.

Yeah I don't think this year is weak at all. It'll be interesting to see how conference play starts shapin the top 25. Hell, Illinois just rolled OSU after losing to Purdue a few days ago. Michigan has a great shot at being 16-0 when they go into Columbus next Sunday but then they play OSU, Minnesota and Illinois all on the road in a 2 week span. I'm glad I started watching earlier this year.

#4 Arizona goes down last night, leaving Michigan and Duke as the only 2 undefeated teams left. Michigan has a pretty rough 2 game stretch coming up, with road games against OSU on Sunday and Minnesota on Thursday. If Michigan wins those, they'll be 18-0 and should have a pretty good argument for the #1 spot in the country. Duke has NC State Saturday and Georgia Tech Thursday.

Two very disappointing Local teams pulled Monster upsets this week.

Villanova beat 2 Top 5 teams and LaSalle beat Butler (without Clarke) and VCU.

And both Butler and the 'Zags look poised for Deep tourney runs...

Michigan should be #1 tomorrow!

It's taken a LOOONG time but that win vs. Illinois has got me believing. I thought that was a "trap game" that would get 'em.

Unreal that both UNC and Kentucky are so close to the Bubble right now.

And if you guys haven't seen the end of the Canisius-Niagara game yesterday, make sure to check it out. Probably on YT...
