I love it. I'll be buying some for sure. You dont have to airbrush anything on a golf card...these are going to be beautiful.

Will Rory Mcllroy be signing for this set?

My guess is no. UD tried to get him for their set and they said they were having a hard time getting him (or his people) to agree to do it.

He signs well TTM though.

I would be really happy if Vijay Singh was in the set.

Thanks Brian.. I think it only took 3 or 4 years since I asked about you doing golf..

Well worth the wait..

Did you get the kid from my neck of the woods? (Ryan Moore)

Thanks again for the scans... time to save up..

Brandt Snedeker?

Also, I'm not sure how relevant the price of a personal appearance is to card auto prices. I don't know how much casual golf fans are even aware of golf cards, or are interesting in them. Off the street golf fans might not know/believe the authenticity of Leaf (we do as collectors because we are used to the idea by now of card manufacturers not lying about who signed the thing), and so much of paying for an IP auto is getting to meet the guy/get a picture/get to have a choice as to what is signed.

Still, this set should do well, I think.

Anyone care to venture a guess what a Nicklaus auto will cost on the secondary market?

my guess is around 200

on a side note hes doing a signing its 350 a signature id love to add him on a flag but not at that price

This is a great example of how tough it is to be a manufacturer.... Our cost in Jack is > $200.
I think the fact that the cards are nice could make these VERY desirable.

I offered Rory $200/autograph and got turned down...

I sold a 2001 UD jack auto /25 for over $1100 a couple years back. $200 seems extremely conservative, i'll be all over one if they fall in that range.

those are nice. I went crazy when UD golf came out and I still have about 20 or so left. I actually pulled and still have two Byron Nelson auto's.

How many Nicklaus autos will be in the product? I am BEGGING you, please don't flood the market; Nicklaus is one of the few autos out there that is perfectly controlled in terms of quantity.

Any cuts? Snead? Nelson?
I can't wait for this set, years ago I went nuts on the UD signature set with the 8x10 autos. I pulled a Sergio Garcia and sold it for almost $500. I've been waiting for more golf ever since.
How about Annika, Nancy Lopes, Se Ri Pak, or Christina Kim? They've all been very nice in person.

No team logos, I'm out.

(Just kidding! These look great -- I'm not a golf fan, but I think the design is solid.)

Im not a big fan of the design of this set. For golf, I would much rather have a classic white design then the chrome multi-colored design used for the baseball and football sets, and I think many major golf collectors will feel the same way. I don't know if it will effect the secondary market value on these cards though since it has been so long since a golf release.
