I hope that list at the top is not the final list, I posted ahead of some of those people. I can't make the live even either, my dart league mandatory meeting is tonight at the exact same time. I'm new and kind of confused by the process here, I'm very active in collecting on YouTube but do very little on boards due to some bad experiences elsewhere. I hope to win something and broaden my collecting experience to include this board, I'm sure my 1500+ subscribers would like to see what this board has to offer. Not sure exactly who you are....? I just made my first post after being a member for two years. At first I would just read the group and box breaks and then my life fell apart with a divorce after being married 14 years., etc... Understandably, I lost my interest in cards for a long time. So anyway, I just made my first post and I'll be danged if some scrub (you) is going to criticize me over my lack of participation. My point is that you have no idea what is going on in peoples' lives and shouldn't be a critical yahoo because of it... unless ofcourse that 'senior member' label of yours came with some hidden insight.

Still hoping to get a spot. Either way, will be an interesting break to watch

Seems to be a lot of general chit-chat in here about nubes trying to enter these contests. I noticed there are not a whole lot of FCB members with a low number of posts (approximately zero, I think) who have been slotted for these so far. Are these contests/giveaways just for the members who have lots of posts? Or does anyone have a fair shot at it? Thanks!

It definitely is random. I've lost a LOT more contests than I have won. Honestly, I haven't won very many if at all. If it's a contest, it's free. So whether I win or not, I don't lose anything. No reason to be upset about it.

I have never won a conteat on these boards and I think I was here nearly from the beginning. I have won a trivia contest that was held live from the national but something that is totally random like last nights Leaf event is not something I have ever won. It is the luck of the draw and for new members to get upset that they didnt win just boggles my mind.

I didn't read it all but are people really XXXXXing about not getting a slot in a random free contest???? Are you here for freebies or to enjoy the board? I may not post a ton but I read a lot on fcb, and I'm certainly not here just to have my hand out for contests. It's fun to ocasionally have a chance at something free, but please dont let this be the only reason youre here. most of the "regulars" you see have probably given more than theyve received.

I thought it was awesome of Brian to do. Regardless of what card I get (was at work so didn't see break) I'll be keeping it and hope that player ends up being a stud! I'll keep it just because this was a great thing Leaf did that they didn't have to. Heard a Pujols wasn't hit, which is good because it means they are still in the product, but would have been nice to see one pulled. I would have to imagine that would boost sales.
