The cards have your brand name right on them. How can you justify telling sellers to not use it in their titles.

How many ways can I say this, they are NOT LEAF branded... They are essentially private label goods, much like Kroger brand Ketchup,....

I really don't know how I could be more clear... BG

huh?

is rittenhouse marvel a low A player?

No, Rittenhouse is a manufacturer and Marvel is a multi-billion dollar brand with super heroes..

Upper deck has the license and has granted a "sub license" to Rittenhouse... Unless you know the business side of the transaction, it's hard to judge if something makes sense... If Rittenhouse paid enough money, maybe it would make sense for Upper Deck....BG

Trader JOe's ketchup doesn't have Heinz or Hunt's name on it.

This product does have Leaf's name on it.

They say Leaf right on the card. To say that Leaf can't be used in the title is absurd.

I agree. This is very fishy. Why would a company release a new brand of cards and not tell anyone? Or have a website? It makes absolutely no sense.

Trust me... Anything I release from Leaf will be announced and promoted... Heck, I've been accused here of being a hypester .... I cannot control someone who buys rights/sub licenses products from me... BG

So, to benefit those who dont understand, its your copyright on the back so as a seller, why would i not be able to say Leaf?

i'm just trying to get a clear picture.

I really like memories auto's and i'm buying some but man do you make it hard for people to sustain confidence in your brand. Perception is truth...

Lol... I give up....

I have to be on the copyright line with the player deals I have... The error (if any) was not included Rize on that line as well..

eBay has confirmed they will remove any listings with Leaf improperly used (this includes people who call 2012 panini limited, leaf limited)...

If you listen to a handful of haters on a message board I agree, but you are listening to people with no idea of the facts who type because they like reading themselves ....

It's so funny how I make myself available to answer questions on a phone to avoid confusion and people would rather gossip and guess than know facts... PM your phone # if you would actually like answer and not just spew misinformation... BG

That's not even remotely the same thing. The word Leaf isn't on any Panini products to my knowledge. If a word is on a card, it most certainly could/should be used in the title of the listing. That's just common sense.

Do Rittenhouse cards state that they're (C) Upper Deck?

Rize was made aware of this restriction and accepted it...
Isn't that really all that matters? You make your own decision if you want to buy the cards knowing that is the issue..
It's not my product to worry about... BG

It's a message board. We post messages, discuss product, and speculate. It's what we do. If we don't do it, FCB goes away.

The FACTS are this:

A number of sellers have received and are selling mass quantities of RIZE cards, something none of us have ever heard of. All of the RIZE cards have LEAF in the title of the auction and on the back of the card.

Interestingly, no wax is being sold of this product, just low level base. Similar to the product that Leaf put out on eBay last year. These are facts.

I'm asking only to understand this, you can accuse of being a Leaf Basher/Hater all you want, I would be the same to the other manufacturers if they pulled this same stuff.
Why would you license a direct competitor? What if I was planning on ordering a case of Leaf Draft, but now I see this brand new company with all new technology, and now I decide I don't want the Leaf product anymore? In fact, I'm only going to buy Rize from here on out. Aren't you putting your self at risk by allowing another companies to enter the non licensed draft market? Also, how do the players feel about their images and so forth being controlled by you? Did their agents approve this?

On the other hand, it could be a part of a brilliant strategy of making cards for other companies that are so asbolutely atrocious, that it makes the regular Leaf products seem great by comparison.
