Hoping to see some sort of reply to this thread.

Are people really expected to believe that Scott Hall stole cards, then sold them to a company either owned by Brian Gray or closely affiliated with him? Hall would have a legit slander lawsuit on his hands and I'm sure he could really use the money.

What is the story with American Icons? I know for a fact that ebay seller aitx is American Icons Texas and Paypal payments made to them go to Brian Gray. I would find it hard to believe that the American Icons based in Cali is in no way associated with Leaf and BG.

Sad that an entire product and brand would be risked over a few hundred extra dollars for Scott Hall autographs.

Different American icons..
Sean Jacoby owns that autograph company...

After investigation, Scott hall did indeed keep cards WITHOUT authorization..
We have successfully arranged for their return to leaf for destruction.. BG

No relation.. Their company secured a number of wrestlers for our 2012 set..

So Scott Hall stole cards and then turned around and sold them to one of the companies that got him the signing? You realize how illogical that sounds, right?

What happens with the ones that are out there? Can you do anything since in essence Scott Hall stole from you?

Sean Jacoby (American icons) in San Diego believed these were the free cards Hall got from Leaf.. He is not a card guy and didn't know that player samples are stamped in gold over the signature area.. I have arranged for their return for destruction..

The truth is what it is... You'd be shocked how many players keep cards that companies send because they see no harm. This happens with Leaf far less than most companies (only the second time we know of).

I've personally caught 2 hall of famers stealing rookie cards at signings I've run with them.

Cards are being returned.
To my knowledge, Hall thought he could keep these as samples (he apparently didn't know that we send samples with a gold stamp in auto area later).. BG

The questions posed have been asked an answered.. Not going to let this train run off the track..

Happy to answer further questions from legitimately interested parties (ie- not the handful of guys who enter threads to stir crap up for sport) by email,PM or phone... BG

This is why autographs should be signed in front of a representative of the company and not sent to the player. Besides the fact a player can say they signed the cards and let a family member do the work for them. A representative can bring 500 cards and leave with 500 cards. Like MLB authentication. I always like the catch phrase "signed in front of or sent direct from". Too much room for shenanigans.

Scott Hall addressed the situation on Twitter...

"I have only done a small amount of autograph shows in my whole career, sucks to think some dealer is doing something crooked"

"When they stack stuff in front of me to sign I didn't suspect that people were getting swerved. Drama follows me..."

2012 Leaf Wrestling Originals, one of the worst executed products in a long while. It was so bad, it took Leaf an extra half of a year to excrete this garbage.
