Interesting, if you look up the ARod PSA/DNA knob number it shows the bat itself...definitely not game-used. Zero marring, no rack or ball marks and super high gloss.

I believe PSA/DNA cites "Game-Used" for game-used items no? This is marked as an authentic professional model bat.

At least the others actually look like they at least saw a bat rack once.

Uh OH! ::facepalm::
Sounds like a twitter question for Topps

Think if they did this (scan actual cards) with all high-end inserts, wouldn't that essentially help cut fakes out of the market? I also think it helps pump collectors up about the product... I don't really buy much new stuff but this made me go look at what a box (one pack) goes for lol

Would love to get my hands on one or two of those. I wonder if there will be 1/1? Or 1/25?

So whos going for the set? :lol:

Anyways, I think this is the most impressed I have been in a long long time with any GU in a product.
Not sure if I will chase the Musial or not, but at least I have a card to look for now.

On a related note, I just saw yesterday that someone on Blowout pulled the#1/1 Musial bat barrel from Prime Cuts. It's a pretty sweet looking card!

This is just amazing...

Has me thinking though... I'll use Belle for an example (because I know his cards the best) but he has been on "game used bat" cards for the last two years almost non-stop BUT he has never had a bat barrel or bat knob?!?! I mean they have to have them right? Same with patch cards or the patches for the letters in his last name or the logoman, etc... why haven't those come up? They have to have those too right? Sometimes this hobby gets my confused...

Sorry for the tangent but again, this bat barrel cards is awesome and the bat knobs in this thread make me want to buy this product...

For most modern players you could get a whole game used bat for less than in most cases a bat barrel card but certainly a barrel and knob card.
