I just bought the card I wanted for less than the price of a box Jemile Weeks 1/1 gold ink auto. Rather just buy a card I want then take the gamble

I saw the Brett knob already sold online to Olbermann. Looks like he also bought the Gary Carter, Justin Upton, and Carlos Gonzalez

Maybe it's just a bad picture/scan?

poor Ernie Banks, singing until he can sign no more.

and if Olbermann is buying the bat knobs then they are about to get very expensive. Dude doesn't care about what he has to pay for a card.

Keith Olbermann, ex ESPN anchor, ex- host of Countdown on MSNBC and Current TV (big-time progressive Democrat). Huge collector of all things vintage baseball and will go after modern stuff if it strikes his fancy (2000 Fleer Greats autos, for example; also bought up lots of the Alex Gordon Topps error rookies).

Let's sign two! In all seriousness, Ernie is still in good health and his signature hasn't degraded too much.

A few more fun ones.

It looks like this product is a big dud for the most part but if you hit something nice, it's really nice.

knowing topps they have some sort of reverse mortgage set up to pay Ernie for his 'graph.

I wonder what Olbermann is ready to pay for some of the higher end Yankee bat knobs?

That Clemente knob is going to be fun to watch. I hope it doesn't end early.

You know, looking through all the cards listed, I wonder if the horizontal "Crowd Pleasers" autograph set isn't the kind of set people have been waiting for since, say 2005 Ultimate. It's got a broad range of guys with a moderate degree of difficulty, and the black parallel if you like that sort of thing. It's got some downside, like 2 different Jose Valverde cards #/399, but the ones #/75 and less are quality guys. Not as nice as Ultimate Decades or whatever, but probably the best we'll see for now.

Is anyone surprised about all the bat knobs that have been hit with BINs? If I had one, I'd definitely do an auction. I wonder how much money the BINs have left on the table?

I'm also surprised how negative people are towards this product. It looks to me to be one of the nicer products in a while. I really like the white autos on the black background. They look very nice.

Oh - and out of curiosity, is a game used bat of these guys really that much more than the price some of the knobs are selling for? I mean, wouldn't you rather have the entire bat?
