Michigan D was vastly overrated after last week. The Akron QB is decent though. No excuse though, a good defense doesn't make an average QB look that good.

Will the real Michigan Wolverines please stand up?! Because they sure as hell weren't on the field yesterday! This wasn't the same team that shellacked Central Michigan 59:9 and dominated the Irish 41:30! Yesterdays's guys were probably just a group of impostors smuggled in from Columbus as part of an evil master plan by Dr. Evil Meyer...

Seriously, what we saw was a complete mental blackout by the whole team! The defense couldn't get any stops, the offense failed to get any running game going and Gardner was throwing INTs like he was tossing candy at a parade. This has got to be THE best example of the dangers of overlooking a seemingly over-matched opponent after you had a great game the week before. Let's hope that this comes as a wake up call and a reminder that you have to show up every week and take each and every opponent seriously!

I've seen some dicked-up endings to football games, but the end to the ASU-Wisconsin game was crazy. That was the actual first time I've seen a team lose to the refs. I don't know what else to say. I guess it ranks right up there with "simultaneous possession".

Fresno State 41 vs. Boise State 40! Finally after 7 years! I guess a new coach was in order. Tied for mountain west for 1st place last year(first year in new division for us) and this year beating Boise State!! Best regards, David
