Javier Lopez back to the Giants, 3yrs $13mm

And the big splash of the day Jason Vargas to the Royals for 4yrs $32mm

Red Sox made their first [non-minor league] move this offseason, acquiring RHP Burke Badenhop from the Brewers for minor league LHP Luis Ortega.


This guy has a really low walk rate, I definitely like that....good depth move.

Peralta was 4 years and 52 million I believe. Terms were released last night ballerskrip. I just didn't post them in the thread and didn't check back till this morning.

Great pick up for the cards IMO.

Great pick up for the cards IMO.

MUCH better deal at $13 million, than what was being speculated many places at $17 million per. Though personally I don't think he is any more than a $8-$10 million a year player. I guess it pays to use PED's.

Compared to who else is available 13 million is very fair. After peralta you have drew and then who? Nobody pretty much

Cardinals upgraded one of their only weak spots from a WS team. Great deal in my eyes.
