Anyone know when Grandstand and Choice produce the new years cards? I couldn't find a website for either company, let alone any type of info about approximate release dates. Anyone have any idea, or remember from past years?

depends on the team you are looking for. Alot of teams already have sets released and others are releasing within the next month or so.
Go to whatever teams site and look in their store.

Choice, Grandstand and MultiAd are marketing companies, not card companies. The individual teams place their orders to have their sets produced (not sure who gets the Top Prospect and All Star sets produced, unless it's the leagues themselves), so there really isn't a release schedule. It's whenever the companies finish the teams' orders.

Sadly, there really isn't much of a market for minor league cards outside serious player collectors and autograph hounds. I think a big part of that was the advent of MLBP basically taking over all marketing and licensing aspects of affiliated minor league teams, making it too expensive for larger minor league sets to be produced. That's why only Topps issues the yearly sets now and Just has devolved into another TriStar, "producing" only auto cuts and signed memorabilia. I really miss the days of the sets from Classic, Best, ProCards, LineDrive/Impel/Skybox and the Star Company.

I disagree - I consider Bowman as containing minor league cards.

Personally I love these for my IP autos.
I pay alittle extra just to get these signed instead of their basic retail cards.
Minor league and college cards are my IP thing. :D

I know Multiad Isotopes sets will be distributed July 8th (postponed from June 24th).

Yes, I concur about the value of these things - I only buy one for the PC now instead of stashing 2-3 spares away because it's pretty obvious their value doesn't grow when I can find Isotopes sets on ebay a year or two later for the same price or less than what they could have been purchased for at the Pro Shop.
