I think this year will be my very first National. I may need to pick the brains of some Chicago people for lodging suggestions.

When I went to the Sun-Times show I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn or something like that. Casino was between me and show. Most hotels offer shuttle service, even if only to O'Hare, lady at counter said they will drop you off at convention center and just call when ready and next shuttle will pick you up. Tons if hotels on same street. Good food close too.

I will be attending again this year. I used to live within a 45 minute drive, now it's a 6 hour drive. I will either get a room, or stay with some friends in Kenosha, WI.

It's the Rivers Casino, about 1 mile down the road from the convention center. They have a shuttle that will pick you up at your hotel and take you there and back.
