Yup, with Baltimore's staff I'd prefer molding a 2-3rd round LB into a stud than giving Ellerbee 35M.

If you really look at it, the Ravens defense was fairly average last season. Although talented they did give up a ton of points.

With Caldwell running the show, I think the Front Office realizes the Offense and Special Teams is where the Team is going to win games from now. And Ozzie Newsome has earned a degree of Faith for his history of taking Unheralded players and developing them...

flacco didnt hurt the cap this year.

I think there is a lot more behind the Pollard cut. 3 teams in 4 yrs... It's a personality thing

In agreeance, especially on Pollard. He is a Boilermaker, I have heard many bad things about this guy from those that knew him well in school. I beg that the Bears don't sign him.

Vikings sign Matt Cassel.

Never know when Ponder will suffer another bruise, so not a bad move IMO. ;)

I actually like the Iggles 2nd wave of signings better than their "first day" guys. Although none of them is potentail Pro Bowler and fans are getting kinda antsy waiting for them to sign a "big" name and use up some of that big salary cap space they have. +

Also, Jake Long and Ed Reed both left their first visits without a deal. Still think both are going back to the Original teams...
