Only guy I know playing this year is Touki, but he is definitely going to be a stud for years to come, guy is a righty who can top out at 97-98, usually cruises from 93-96 and he has a DEADLY curveball that goes anywhere from 72-80 and goes from "chin to knees".

The only defense to this would be that they gave away multiple sets via twitter at the game. Every year i've dealt with that guy for cards he has been super good to me and others. It would bum me out if there games being played...

They only gave away a couple sets on twitter... This guy had about 10-15 (minimum) sets he took home with him...

I always thought the guy was a stand up guy and he had been good to me too in the past... Guess greed got to him...

Beckett story on the PG autograph signing session.

Beckett News » Behind the scenes at the Perfect Game All-American Classic autograph session

"This year’s set will be the first with black-bordered cards. As was done last year, Topps printed a separate run of cards for the autograph session — but this time there was a lightened area near the bottom so the signatures stand out. In prior years, there was some confusion because the autograph session cards and giveaway cards were identical, though in the case of the 2011 set, all cards had TOPPS CERTIFIED AUTOGRAPH ISSUE in small print on the fronts.

This year, each player signed 250 cards with blue Staedler markers and 10 cards with red Staedlers. As always, Topps will store each player’s cards until he signs a pro contract, at which time his cards can be randomly inserted into packs. If the player never signs with an MLB team, the cards will never see the light of day."

Smart move by Topps with the lightened area at the bottom, to deter fakes.

Anybody else notice that Topps' "Preview" of the cards looks nothing like them?

Mystery solved. I was wrong - the red ink parallels have the red edges.
