The lack of baseball this time of year drives me crazy, so let's get some 2014 talk going. Give us some bold predictions.

Here are 10 of mine:
- Jeff Samardzija posts a 3.25 ERA, 200 Ks, and still loses double digit games...but the Cubs DON'T finish in last place.

- Jose Fernandez becomes the second youngest pitcher to ever win the Cy Young Award behind Dwight Gooden.

- Logan Morrison wins the AL Final Vote to be named an all star.

- Wil Myers and Bryce Harper each hit 35+ homeruns.

- Brian McCann will have the best overall season of all players on new teams in 2014.

- Miguel Cabrera will hit 50 homers

- The Mariners win the AL West despite a down year from newly signed Robinson Cano

- Pittsburgh will win the NL Central over the Reds and Cardinals

- Kris Bryant wins NL ROY despite not being called up until July

- Xander Bogaerts is voted the starting SS for the AL all star team as a rookie

I've posted this one before and on other outlets: The Nationals represent the National League in the World Series with Stephen Strasburg winning the NL Cy Young and Bryce Harper winning the NL MVP.

Jered Weaver has an unbelievable season, wins Cy Young for 3rd place team.

Phillies win one of the NL WildCard spots.

Some of these are some bold predictions...harper sending 35+ balls out the park? Miggy sending 50? Wow!

Go bold or go home!

That being said, I know they're bold but would you really be THAT surprised if either of those two things happened?

Rockies start the season 70-0 then Tulo and Cargo have a freak crash in shallow center field. The Rockies then go 0-92 to finish the season.
