With up to 5 QBs and up to 8 WRs going in the first two Rounds, this should be a great year for Wax and singles sales. Maybe not as good as '12, but definitely better than Last Year.

I like to follow the Draft and don't remember this wide open of a Draft anytime recently. Could be tons of moves or none. Most of the QBs' stock has supposedly fallen, but you can't really believer anything you hear from any scouts/coaches or executive this time of Year.

Personally, as a Cowboys fan, I've been hoping for a safety (again ), especially Dix. And I can only hope our GM isn't as intent on getting Johnny Clipboard as is rumored...

Got any thoughts? throw 'em on here!

I think every QB taken in the first round will be a wasted pick. Don't see any of them worth a 1st round pick.

I think Bortles is a first round talent. Just think Tim Tebow with actual throwing talent. None of these guys are finished products, but I think Carr and Bortles are the best projections to be solid pros for a long time.

Bridgewater hasn't shown in workouts he's worth a 1st round pick.

I think Manziel is worth a first round pick on popularity and hype alone. Your team is going to get A LOT of press because of him for the next two years. Is it going to be good press though?

If manziel learns how to avoid hits, I think he is the only one worth the 1st round. In college he would lower his shoulder or keep running until tackled most of the time. A guy of his stature would get crushed in the NFL doing that. If he learns how/when to slide and get out of bounds and even throw the ball away sometimes, he has the talent combo to be great. I just don't think he will be able to change his playing style easily. Most of the corners in the NFL hit harder than linebackers in college

The Texans' GM is now saying they know who they're taking IF they keep the pick.

And Manziel had a third meeting with the Rams, who have two first Round picks...

Word is that they are DEFINITELY taking Greg Robinson with the 2nd pick. They will take Manziel with the 13th pick if he is still there. And quite honestly if he isn't snapped up at 4 by the Browns he might still be on the board. I think Bortles is a lock to go 8th to Minnesota. The only thing that changes that is if Cleveland has a change of heart and picks Bortles instead of Johnny Football (and I think they should).

There are also rumors that Bill O'Brien is a MASSIVE Bortles fan and they might trade down a few spots but still ahead of Minnesota and bank some picks and take Bortles. Atlanta would have been a prime candidate for the #1 spot to nab Clowney, but they still need a few more bodies on the OL and with a bumper crop of high quality LTs available (most say they will take Lewan at 6) they will most likely stand pat because they HAVE to. I think the Falcons will definitely take a good look at Michael Sam in the 6th and 7th rounds to bolster their DL as well. Would be a shame if that guy didn't get drafted. No reason the SEC player of the year who went head to head with elite OL every game and has that kind of motor shouldn't get picked because he is gay.

If you think thats the reason he's projected to go 5th/6th/7th/undrafted, then I weep for this board.

Do explain then. Is it because of his across the board average metrics? That still makes you a 4th/5th/6th round pick. He's a good prospect, and there are far worse reaches in the 3rd and 4th rounds than him.

But let's hear your genius and expert opinion oh banned one.

I have no clue why he is projected so low, i never even watched him play on TV last year, I don't think Missouri was ever on TV for me, unless they were playing an ESPN game at night.

No, I weep for this board because of arrogant, bigoted generalizations like that.

I think your reading comprehension skills are weak at best here. If you actually go back and read I said that he is a good player and I hope that he doesn't slide that low because he is gay. There is nothing bigoted about that at all. He's gay and teams are using that to detract from his standing as a player. Again...go back and read.

I too think its a shame he is being discriminated against....but also the fact of the matter is that a lot of teams won't touch him because of his sexuality.

AGAIN...IN BOLD LETTERS FOR YOU... I SAID THERE IS NO REASON HE SHOULDN'T BE PICKED BECAUSE HE IS GAY.

Then I envy you immensely.....to be able to call all 32 Owners of NFL teams and have them explicitly say to you that they weren't gonna draft him cuz he's gay....that's some great power you have there.

No, most draft scouts and personnel of teams have off the record come out and said they weren't going to pick him.

We are on the same side here, you're just too much of a troll to care or see it.

I'm actually not trolling that hard....trying to show you how bigoted your statement was.

Please show me where in that article, or any article, that it says they wont draft him because he is gay

Its actually mentioned twice in the article and even hot linked to a different one within the same article. There was absolutely nothing bigoted about my statement. Michael Sam is gay, and teams won't pick him because of that. Those aren't my original thoughts....those are the thoughts of just about every sports writer out there and are grounded in facts....like teams coming out and saying they won't draft him. Teams are playing it off like he's not talented enough to play on this level or even give him a shot when its simply not true. The best defensive player in the best defensive conference doesn't deserve a shot in the pros? Cmon. Please don't be ridiculous. You just got back on here...why are you trying to piss people off again?

At least I can breathe a sigh of relief that the Cowboys alleged lust for "Johnny Clipboard" was not accurate.

I hope...

Assuming teams won't take a guy because he is gay is bigoted. You are bigoted against the teams not against Sam. Your statement was extremely presumptuous and bigoted against the front offices of the NFL.

I do think Michael Sam will get drafted. I see him going to the Patriots, Steelers, or Packers. Top notch organizations with stability throughout and veteran leadership.
