I hope they don't screw this up but they probably will. Would be super awesome if they modeled the cards after the 1998 set. I'm just kind of depressed there are no current Padres I'm interested in collecting.

Lol, it was a joke, I said it because I don't think they released the GQ checklist until the the day before it was released (I could be completely wrong here), and of course I am always looking for Dawson on checklists. He was not good enough to put in the base set this year but good enough to add some inserts into it.

I have mixed feelings about this release but mostly depending on how they do it and what players they put in it. As much as I'd love to see Belle in the base set, I really hope he isn't but I think he shouldn't be honestly. I feel like this set should be current players and not "retired stars" or however Topps says it. I have also heard there are autos being included and just don't think Tek is suppose to be autos and memos and stuff... keep it to what it was historically.

Wow, I'm excited! Never got into the older product of Tek cuz i didn't have a player to collect.....but I guarantee Posey will be in the new Tek!
