As a Tigers collector, I think it's insane that out of 100+ base autos there are absolutely no Tigers. Other than that gripe, if you're a fan of the stars of the late '80s/early '90s then the list is quite nice. Also, like some of not so common names in the cut auto checklist.

I'm actually glad Stanton isn't on the checklist, or my wallet is at least. Other than Ichiro, no Marlins are in the set. Kind of a bummer, but oh well.

The cut auto checklist is horrendous. Regardless of them being 1/1's, at least half won't get your money back on a box. No knobs or barrels either.

Touché. Why waste my sanity worrying right?! Lol-it wouldn't be horrible and would actually be awesome if it didn't have Williams, who is amazing but drives up the price to a ridiculous number. Really like how they included Goodman and Zarilla thou.

I find myself scanning these checklists every so often for new Garvey cards and actually breathing a sigh of relief that he is NOT included in most of these sets. The high end market for packs has absolutely ruined my interest in collecting newer cards. When I do have a few new cards to chase, there always seems a few that are just too pricy and although I have long ago given up hope it getting all of the cards, adding a bunch more 1/1s and cards numbered to 10 or less to a checklist is a thrill killer for sure. Add that to the growing population that chases the ultra premium cards on the secondary market for the sport of it and because they can (bat knobs, barrels, tags, patches, buttons and the like) regardless of who is featured on the card makes for a player collectors nightmare. Collecting needs to be fun and this high end lottery mentality is not fun.
