I love the Museum Collection Framed autos but this design is getting really old. I guess that keeps the 2011s more special.

That Griffey nameplate cabinet is pretty spicy though.

Man, just about nothing has changed in cards in the last 10 years. Glad I'm all but out. Still fun watching people rip though.

whats wrong with continuity? Why does a design have to change every year?

I want that Clemente ! And love the Black n White and like how they left more material on the Troy then just cutting it down to the logo.

Exactly what I was thinking! If its a good design and it works, why not keep going with it?

I think because for a lot of the "end" collectors it gets stale. Set collectors get bored. Player collectors definitely get bored. If you're just ripping random products and keeping your "hits" or if you rip for fun and sell or possibly even team collecting, it's not a big deal. But if you're accumulating lots of them over and over......

Look at Topps through history. They have a new look every year. One that is usually identifiable on sight.

There's no way the common card guy can tell the difference between a '12, '13, or '14 Museum (Marquee) Framed auto. '11? Yep. Had its own style.

Look at this in a different way, would you buy the same designed car over and over again? TV? Clothing? Interior paint in your house? Cars, TV's, clothing, paint or whatever, the interior is the same, the exterior is the selling appeal!

It's all about variety.
