That branch ends on 05/18, but Texas won't have an interleague game until Friday 05/27. Do I just go after the 4HR/16K rule on that since that whole branch won't be possible? No worries if so and I just wanted to clarify

Your aassumption is 100% correct. Not much you can do with that scenario other than to rely on your chainsaw options.
