Good pick for Atlanta, I'd be happy with that, Jordan.

I'm just sick of these "high upside" high school pitchers they pick up year after year. I know he's got tons of potential but I would much rather have a position player who's close to being major league ready.

I feel Anderson at #3 is a huge overdraft. Should have been taken #10- #25.

It's been 16 years since the Braves last drafted a high school pitcher as their #1 pick who actually had more than 1 successful season in the majors...and he was traded before he ever got to play with the Braves major league team. His name was Adam Wainwright.

I'm hoping Allard or Soroka can prove that the Braves actually know what they are doing with their first round pitcher picks.

I would, Jacoby helped the Sox win 2 World Series and gave us over 20 WAR with GG defense. (and we got a compensation pick after he left)...If Ray lives up to that, it's a fantastic pick. I think his floor is fairly high with all of his tools.
