Finally getting the chance to catch with Branch 6 starting last week. Alex is lucky that I've been too busy with work and the kids the last few days. Gonna claim the chainsaw with the Twins hitting 5 homeruns on 6/9

Confirmed!! Nice work, Alex.

You have won the Branch 6 bounty!

Please send me a PM to confirm your mailing address and your choice of recent WS champs (Braves, Nats, Dodgers).

You may begin working on Branch 7 effective yesterday, June 11th.

Everyone else remains on Branch 6.
Question...is it Team LOB or combined batters' LOB? If it's combined batters LOB, I need to go back and revisit the scoreboards.

hmmm….did not think there was a difference, but lo and behold, there is.

Went by the combined LOB number for Alex’s May 31st game (Cleveland vs KC).

Combined LOB = 15
Team LOB (further down in the box notes) = 9

The prize has already been awarded. Sorry everyone! Yet another wrinkle.

Honestly did not know the two were different. Does anyone know why?

On the bright side, I don’t think this issue will come up again going forward.

No worries...lets me cross off 2 scenarios on branch 6! (y)
The sum of individual batter LOB is different than team LOB in that the first tallies each batters' LOB following their at-bat whereas the team LOB only counts runners left on at the end of an inning (team LOB can never be more than 3 for any inning).

Example: (I'll use this year's Royals since it's not a far fetched scenario) say the Royals load the bases with nobody out (ok...that's pushing it). Santana strikes out = 3 LOB for him. Rivera strikes out = 3 LOB for him. Taylor flies out = 3 LOB for him, too, but instead of 9 LOB for the inning, the team as a whole left 3 runners on base when the inning concluded. Now, using the same scenario, but assume Taylor hits a grand slam before Whit grounds out. Santana and Rivera still have 3 LOB each, but the team LOB for that inning would be 0.

And that, my friends, is a master class on Men LOB. haha

Makes perfect sense, thanks! Just needed to have it laid out like that.

Confirmed! You can move down to Branch 7 as of yesterday, June 16.

Branch 6 remains in play for the others until June, but no bounty as @metallicalex already claimed it.

@clarkzac is also on Branch 7 as of June 9 (chainsaw, see post #61).

Pretty sure I got mine branch 6 last night

Cincinnati 33-38 AB 6/9
Yankees 2+ PH 6/10
Cardinals 7-8 LOB 6/10 (if it is indeed Team LOB and not sum of the players)
Angels 9 K 6/17
Tigers 6 K 6/15
Giants 5+ BB 6/14

Confirmed, however the Angels scenario was actually 6-16 and the Giants scenario was 6/13.

You can start Branch 7 effective today, June 17.

As for the LOBs, I’ll accept either because:

1. The branch bounty has already been claimed, so you are just playing for additional days to start branch 7

2. There was confusion when the bounty was claimed, so the sum total LOB was accepted

Colorado 2 Hits 6/24 Joe

@chippernate,

Confirmed!! Nice work.

You have won the Branch 7 bounty!

Please send me a PM to confirm your mailing address. You will receive a mystery card of a NYC native (The Big Apple).

Everyone else remains on Branch 7 until you clear it or the automatic chainsaw kicks in July 16th (whichever comes first).

I'd better buy a Mega Millions ticket because I believe I hit the Sunny Sophomores yesterday, too. Please double check me:
Jonathan India (75) + Eric Haase (70) + Adolis Garcia (65.50) = 210.50
