Great game. I was very surprised Miami was able to stay in the game for the duration. I figured Memphis would out-athlete them, but that wasn't the case.

I will be at the Tulsa-Oral Roberts game tomorrow morning. Go TU!

I was there for the Tigers game. Miami was much better than I was expecting. They've got a force down low. I forget his name, but he's 6'10" and 303. I think we're going to have a special team here at Memphis once the guys start to gel more as the season goes on. Very talented and deep. If our big men can turn the corner, watch out.

Man, was I ticked that the UCOnn girls' pulled it out. Nothing against the players, but Geno is such an a$$ I root against them.

And I kinda thought Butler was in a tough spot, but didn't see them getting crushed like that.

I've always felt the same thing and I'm from Connecticut - and have been a Uconn fan.
In the past I'd find it funny when they'd lose - the "fans" would be so devastated - I think the whole state didn't know how to react when they'd lose a game - it was like the sky was falling.

For whatever reason I've come to respect the greatness of the current team/streak - even with Geno there.

Watched most of the game last night. Was going to claw my eyes out during the first half - such horrible basketball.
Was beyond surprised Baylor came back when down double-digits. Then have to admit I was a bit surprised Uconn came back - that may have been the first time they've been punched back in the face, and with a younger team they were able to respond.
Pretty sad effort though at the end for Baylor - in a game that was there for the taking.

My sdsu aztecs looked legit against the zags tonight :D

They played a great game. Not taking anything away from SDSU, but this is an early indication that it is going to be a down year for the Zags by their standards. They have no support on the bench. They are already more than likely playing the toughest non-conference schedule in the nation, and likely winning the WCC. However, more than likely One & Done this year in the NCAAs.

Great comeback no doubt by the Lady Huskies. They did have a comeback in the title game last year vs. Stanford when they only scored 12 in the first half.

I liked most of their players over the years and I think sometimes it even gets to the point where their dislike/distrust of Geno gets them to play even better to show/shut him up. I know Taurasi's even hinted at that.

But hey, they've won 80 strait and all but that Stanford game were by at least 10 points, so maybe he don't care what anyone, including his players, think of him. And he went to school in my hometown. Normally I'd root harder for him 'cuz of that, but I just can't...
