I love how even in the article the numbers are shown to have flaws. Clippard has stranded 101% of the batters he's allowed on base. Looks like the saber guys need to go back and re-configure the math of some of this stuff.

A "popout" is a fly ball... in the infield. You can call it a popout or an infield fly out. They are one and the same.
