BUT...3K's. The HR against Liriano, who's pitched like the old Liriano since the beginning of the Winter Leagues, is sweet, especially after K'ing. Also, I think they listed him as playing both RF and LF. They probably want to give him looks in all three spots so he's more comfortable when he inevitably comes up this season, no matter where he has to play to get his bat in the lineup.

Brad Bergesen taking baby steps back from his injury on July 30th....2nd appearance slatted to go 4 innings only managed 2 2/3.

First start was 1 2/3 so he is making progress.

Brennan Boesch hit a mammoth homerun way out of the park for Detroit. He may not end up being a superstar, but this guy can hit the ball a mile.

Good timing on getting my third of these in today to go with a couple higher end autos-

Ben Sheets will never pitch again in the majors.

sad.

Wow, I am like Nostradamus........he allowed 2 hits to start the inning and he had nothing.

Let's define nothing:

zero innings pitched.

8 hits.

1 walk.

1 HR.

9 ER.

10 runs.

You will not see him pitch again most likely. I always liked him too.

Well Nostradamus Ben Sheets does not apply to this thread as he is not a prospect. ;)
