It's actually a signed book, here is the full scan with a COA from the signing:

Nice makes sense since the ttm autopen is from around the same era as his book. Its nearly impossible to tell from a scan where you can see pen indentations. With that said that coa really isnt a sure thing outside of the person who obtained it since it could be copied and put with any book.

Well, I know I said earlier on that I didn't like the idea of blemished baseball and a crappy signature, but after seeing the autos that were received and thinking about the price vs. risk more, I thought it was worth the chance. The ball arrived and it was crystal clean. I'm assuming something about the sig must be the imperfection, b/c there are NO spots on the ball at all. The second "a" in aaron might be the imperfection, but I don't know. I'll post a scan in a second.

The point of the post was that this auto made me go for more and I bought David Ortiz, Curt Schilling and Kevin Millar imperfects for $20 each. They arrived today and were all pretty bad looking balls. Let me see if I can get some scans. Again, it was only $20 each, so I'm really not complaining about it, but I wanted people to see some of the imperfections and what the quality of the items COULD be.

Edit: Here are the scans. The schilling was the worst one:

The Ortiz wasn't too bad, but the spots near the auto kinda stink. Was hoping they would be on the backside of the ball, but on the bright side, they are no where near as large as those on the schilling:

The finger smudge on the Millar is the only imperfection:

Finally, here is the Aaron. There are NO imperfections on this ball. Just must be something about the sig and I'm not familiar enough with his sig to know what it should look like:

How long does it usually take to receive stuff from Steiner? I ordered 3 Aaron's 10 days ago and have not received them yet.

With a lot of the Imperfect balls from Steiner I seen:

Colby Rasmus is mostly skipping

The Dave Winfield HOF ball is almost on the side panel.

Miguel Cabrera is not his full sig. Imagine they had people return these.

Chipper Jones is oxidation creating a bleeding effect from not being stored correctly.

These are great deal if your used to having these problems ( skipping, off panel) hile IP graphing. I would be very happy with that Aaron.

Did you not get an email with a tracking number? I can't remember how long it took to receive stuff from them but I do remember getting a tracking number every time I made a purchase.

Those look great! Funny thing about the Schilling is that it looks like the staining is from where he gripped the ball. Authentic Schilling hand oils!

Yeah, I thought that too. Kinda neat. Maybe PSA could do a real DNA authentication on it. LOL

I was thinking of buying all 3 again and seeing if this is the same result or if the balls look a bit better and sell these off, but I don't know. I was thinking of buying the 3/$99 deal too with Aparicio, Herzog and Gooden, but can't decide if I really need anymore baseballs right now... I'm starting to spend a bit too quickly again and this is what has gotten me in trouble in the past!
