33rd National Autograph guests has been announced

As well as Orioles favorites like Cal Ripken Jr, Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, Brooks & Frank Robinson, Washington Capitals Superstar Alex Ovechkin will appear. There will be a contingent from Cincinatti's Big Red Machine including Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan & Tony Perez

When is the National gonna expand to other cities? Cincinnati would be an excellent choice. Duke Energy Center, Great American Ballpark, "The Banks", midwest location that is different from Chicago or Cleveland (yuck).

Now that I live an hour away from Baltimore, and the first year I was REALLY wanting to attend, I will be away at training the whole month of August. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Also, for those that don't know, be prepared for the WHOLE DC/Baltimore area to be VERY busy during this time, as it was recently announced that the National Harbor will be hosting an Ironman competition the same weekend. :shock:

National Harbor is its own little city, it wont affect Baltimore at all.

That's like saying that Maui or Honolulu doesn't get affected during the Kona event.

First time Ironman event for the DMV area.
Being so close to Baltimore, and the traffic the event will attract from not only stateside athletes, but also international athletes, I can bet Baltimore will attract some attention from those attending. Alot of the athletes will be in the area the whole week leading up to the event.

Just my opinion though.

Yeah, but this one is in the off-season, and IF the Caps don't even make the Playoffs, his Contract and Olympic situation (plus his general disposition :lol: ) might make this one too easy to pass up...

Yeah, but this one is in the off-season, and IF the Caps don't even make the Playoffs, his Contract and Olympic situation (plus his general disposition :lol: ) might make this one too easy to pass up...

Doubt it he has flown in from Russia for a signing in July before then flown back out. And as far as contract he is in the middle of a 13 year extension.

I would be more worried about others than him.
