Here's hoping that Wily Peralta starts the season off with a bang.

Also, CJ Wilson vs. Latos could be a sweet battle.

Padres back at it today. How weird that they had an off day after the first game.

Most teams have an off day after the opener in case of weather. This way they just push it back a day.

the whole schedule is getting a bit strange... an AL team now has no DH on opening day :|

Talked about mixed feelings.

JUSTIN Upton just muscled one out the opposite way off "Big Roy" (2). Not gonna be the Last time for the Phils...

Thanks again to Kevin Towers for one of the worst trades of the last 40 years and putting him in the NL East. Dope!::facepalm::

and Kuroda is done after an inning. I know it is instinct but I hate seeing a pitcher throw up his pitching hand on a come backer.

Who hit the first HR for the Jays this year ? Batista ? Encarnacion ? Arenciba ? Reyes ? Lind ? Rasmus ? Melky ?

No Macier Izturis ...

Morrow: 6 K's through 3.

Year Of The Pitcher....with the bat. First Kershaw, now Gio Gonzalez HR. Don't have him in the HR pool.

Morrow starting to give up more solid hits. His end is near as he's rolling close to 100 pitches.

HR Evan Gattis (1), first Career MLB hit, makes it 4-0 ATL.

Former 26th round pick playing due to McCann's injury. Maybe 2013 Bowman will have some new faces in it after all!

And the Padres are awful. Hurts to watch Latos and Peavy throw up quality starts while the Padres pitchers get pounded by the Mets.
