I think the 2008 Tristar Prospects Plus Baseball is the best value out there right now. You can get boxes for like $23. 4 Auto's, 1 Jersey and 4 Parallel's #'ed out of 50 or lower along with nearly 3/4th of a base set. There are 57 auto's in the set and about 15 or 16 are pretty decent. In the 4 boxes I have opened of this stuff, I got 1 or 2 good autos in each box. I have only pulled 1 parallel auto in those 4 boxes, so I wonder how hard those are to get. The jersey cards are nothing special, only a few decent guys, but maybe you could get a low parallel version. Hopefully you can get a Posey Auto or #'ed Parallel. Good Luck!

Two die cuts. The D'Arnaud is /25, the other parallels are /50
The LaPorta is pretty. Un-numbered, but he's one of my favorite non-Sawx players, so I liked pulling that. That, and how often do you see purple relics?
Did pull the Posey RC, but sadly not the auto.
Casey Kelly RC (We all know he signed exclusivity w/Tristar) with a bat in his hand. Cool card.

How far off was I on the '52 autos? Hopefully you didn't pull a redemption of Kemp (expired) or Zimmerman/Weaver (not produced.)

What did you get? An expired redemption, a couple crappy refractors, and not a hint of a Longoria base, let alone a chrome?
