Fun break. Scanned some of the hits. The Jeter and Mantle are from the Cards you mom threw out set. The Frank Robinson msut be some sort of rookie reprint set. Got 4 other Topps Town cards that I didn't scan Wright, Sabathia, McCann, and Hanley Ramirez.

Is there any indication on the Jeter and Mantle cards that tell you that its from the set "The cards that your mom threw out"? I didn't see anything from the look of the scans.

The site for the code doesn't go live until the middle of February.

The Frank Robinson is also a Cards Your Mom Threw Out card. There is the common set with the new back and there is a one/box version that has the original back.

Casebusters- What you see is what I got. I only didn't scan some of the Topps Town cards. So it maybe looks like they changed the to the Legendary Lineage.
Therion- Cool. Thanks for the info.

Is there lanaguage on the Million Card giveaway card to say how things will work? I wonder if it's like Etopps - the toppsmillion.com site says you can enter the code to view/trade your cards ONLINE. Does that mean if you want the card in-hand you'll have to pay several bucks for them to ship it to you?

I bet if it's $5-10 shipping for redemption, Topps hasn't actually purchased the million cards but has rights to buy a card from some supplier if the card is redeemed and that most cards will not be shipped because people won't find it's worth paying more than the shipping price to have the card sent.

Does the box say anything about 1 auto or jersey per box?

I like those "Tales of the Game" cards!

I guarantee this is the case. Topps does not have these cards in their inventory; they will be buy-backs. And I would bet a lot of money that they have not purchased a single one yet and will not do so until they are requested for shipping (which could cause some consternation when it comes to condition).

I could be wrong, and am interested to see the website when live.
