Thanks to the 27 who entered.

The next step is to reveal and score your starting rotation.

As a reminder, each contestant must be willing to score their own lineup. It's extremely easy (and hopefully fun) to do, but no one will do it for you. Participation is required if you want a chance to win!

Deciphering Your Numbers

The 1st number for each of your starting pitchers refers to their rank as one of the top 50 winningest pitchers in baseball history.

The 2nd number refers to the single season win total during that pitcher's career you will use to score their line (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc...). All single seasons are created equally, no matter how many wins, starts, or innings they pitched.

If the 2nd number is greater than the length of that pitcher's career, simply continue counting from Year 1 until you get to your 2nd number.

Example: You drew Sandy Koufax with 31 as his 2nd number. Since Koufax only played 12 years, you'd have to go through his career twice (24), and up to his 7th season to get to 31. You would use his win total in Year 7 to score his line.

Scoring

Once you determine each player and the single season you will be using, locate their win total for that year.

Non-Hall of Famer: 1 point for each win
Hall of Famer: 2 points for each win

Add up the scores for all 5 starting pitchers and post your score in this thread.

I will keep this thread open until sometime on Friday the 28th. Once it is closed, that's it! If you didn't post your score, you lose those points.

Contestants are encouraged to spot check each other`s posted total.

A similar thread will be introduced for the remaining positions.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask! Good luck and have fun.

Blyleven - 10 HOF - 20
Niekro - 16 HOF - 32
Maddux - 16
Galvin - 13 HOF - 26
Johnson - 20

Total: 104

Of course, two guaranteed HoF in my rotation, but cannot count them yet :( Also, I was about two years off on Galvin. Could have gotten somewhere in the 40 win mark anywhere from like 2-6 years earlier.
