Time for another poll, this time for catchers. Obviously Wieters would be the top guy, but who would you vote for behind him? Please feel free to explain your votes if you like.

I think its not even a comparison. in additon, buster can play any other position and is very atheltic and his bat is mlb ready. just needs to tone up calling the games and he'll be in the bay by sept.

I would take Skipworth over either. He is more likely to stick at Catcher than Posey or Santana.

where do you think posey will end up? He played SS all his life (pretty sure and made the switch to catcher as a sophmore) So you think he'll end up in the infield?

Again, if we're going on ceiling--not quickness to the majors--then Santana is the man.

i agree santana does have a huge ceiling, but i also think posey has just as big of a ceiling. look at his college stats and then won the golden spikes award (previously won by david price and tim lincecum).

My vote on ceiling goes to Santana (although I know many on this board have Posey B.Chrome stash's so I'm betting he wins the voting contest). :D

How is it not even a comparison? I think this is the closest poll yet. How does Buster's ability to play any other position impact his ceiling?

I considered putting him in, but many are saying he's likely to shift to 1B.
