I wouldnt touch loose boxes of this stuff outside of Andrew personally, its reallllllly simple to know whats in these boxes before opening anything. So I vote bust if you know for a fact these are not dead boxes.

after fees and everything, you will end up back at what you paid.

I would bust them.

How so?

Magic or x-ray goggles, I am not going to post it here its just asking for trouble. Just take my word for it its not like you can tell what card as in player but you can tell what type of card is in the box.

I don't think nyc3 has opened any Ultimate, but I would also shy away from loose boxes not sold by the bigger distributors or a dealer you trust. The potential is there for "pack searching" so to speak.

Each pack contains one hit and the jumbo patches are going to weigh a lot more than the solo-signature cards. Let's just say I'm not terribly surprised when two-box breaks turn into two rookie autographs or two cards with no jersey in them.

The product is so loaded anyway; there's a chance that even if you don't hit something with a patch or jersey you could still wind up with something nice.

I just helped the local money pit break 3 cases but yes everything you said, and a bit more but yeah. I was just trying to avoid giving ideas.

after opening 14 cases of this stuff there is a pattern. I have noticed the 1st pack on the left is always a patch or a sleeve card.

After that I have not paid much attention. This is one product I would never buy loose boxes unless I saw the case opened and then mixed up.
