Day 1 Totals
Auctions Listed - 550
Auctions Sold - 430
Total Price - $1008.75

If I could average $1,000 a day, I'd be stoked. I also know that this number included 3 of the higher end items, including the Peavy, Dimaggio, and the (Brad Sullivan?). You never know what card might entice a bidding war. If I can average $850 in sales each day, I will net the goal of $2500 after ebay fees.

Thanks everyone, and goodnight, we'll see you tomorrow around the same time!

Just making sure, since I bought 1 lot of cards, it is free shipping. Correct?

Thanks

Re: 2201 auctions. Free Shipping. <24 Hours. 1371 with 0 bids

So far so good! Only had one question with my shipping terms.

This is the question I received from a 0 feedback buyer: "Can I pay every three cards, and you can send out in different packages so I get free shipping?"

My response - "No sir, that would be cheating me out of money to cover my costs. The shipping terms are to cover the cards you win the entire weekend and Monday. Free shipping only applies if you win 3 cards or less. I appreciate the question, and I have sent you an invoice with your correct shipping total."

Should I have responded differently?

It wasn't you that won?!

I figured it was. The username looked like something you would use.

The free shipping is AWESOME...I will make sure to leave great feedback once the cards are received via Ebay and here at the FCB (kill two birds with one stone kind of deal :D ).

Alex

It is $1 for shipping since you won a total of 4 cards. The shipping was based on card numbers, not auctions. Did I confuse you a bit?

Thank you to EVERYONE who made bids tonight. Once again, cards go out TUESDAY after all auctions are completed. Make sure you take advantage of the great shipping deals, and hopefully you can find more goodies!

Day 1 Totals
Auctions Listed - 550
Auctions Sold - 425
Total Price - $898.75 (UGH. Peavy, which was the highest was bid up by a 0 feedback non payer. I'll be relisting that)

Day 2 Totals
Auctions Listed - 470
Auctions Sold - 329
Total Price - $746.13

Totals
Auctions Listed - 1020
Auctions Sold - 754
Total Price - 1644.88

Positives - Tonight was my weakest night as far as quality of cards listed. But I still sold 70%.
Negatives - Today, I lost the sale of the Peavy Xfractor RC since it was bid up by a non paying bidder. I lost about 10% of my sales from day one, but it will be relisted...

Thank you everyone, once again. See you tomorrow night(and probably tomorrow during this snowstorm to bump up my spam :) )

Sounds like you had a pretty good sell thru rate.

I would suggest you offer to sell unsold items to buyers if they see something they like at no additional cost, thus saving you the ending fees.

Also, do you mind sharing what the cost of fees was on all that, just to see if something like this would be feasible for me?

These were my two plans....
1. Package everything together in one large lot (1000 cards+) of random inserts, #'d/ rcs).
2. Break everything up into team lots, as I have had a couple PMs asking for team lots of items that don't sell.

I will break down all of my fees at the conclusion. Right now for an estimate, I'm sitting at about $485 in listing and closing fees.

Re: 1176 auctions. Free Shipping. <12 Hours. 632 without bids

I have a bunch already won and more to get today. Thanks for helping me grow the collection in a few areas. You certainly got me to bid on stuff I normally wouldn't have without the shipping set up. I think a lot of people factor in shipping anyway when they bid, so like me, they probably up the bid higher knowing the shipping is cheaper. One place it will hurt is shipping doesn't get the fees like the sell price of the item(s), so you do lose a little there.

I think in the end the two bolded statements SHOULD cancel each other out slightly.

Thank you very much for the bids!!

I may be interested in the ones that didn't sell if you are going to throw them in a big lot for a cheap price.

You didn't win the lot I expected you would bid on given that username. Like I said, I'll be checking out what I have left over AFTER everything is over, and decide whether to put it all in one big lot, team lot, etc.

A few nice sales tonight, including the Shoppach Bat limited to 50, and the Jeff Brantley gold. (I LOVE set collectors)
I'm a bit upset the Clemente GU Bat didn't even crack $10. It's a shame when HOF GU can't get $10.

Tomorrow night should be my strongest night.

Thank you everyone, once again. Still some great items left, so hopefully I'll see you all bidding!

Re: 1652 auctions. Free Shipping. <1 Hour. 916 without bids

I got the Clemente bat with a least minute bid. I was very surprised it held up

Earlier I won a Casey Weathers Auto and for some reason I won a Brian Roberts gold refractor. Sometimes you bid on items jsut for the sake of bidding on them
