I posted this yesterday on the vintage board, but I'm still in the mood to show off!

After 10 months of looking and not a little bit of frustration along the way, Johnny Oates has found a new home. With his inclusion I'm finally done with my 1978 Topps Dodger set. 1978 was the year my card collecting began in earnest, and to this day it remains one of my all-time favorite sets.

As the title states, this set is complete in PSA 9. I don't have much desire to upgrade - the '78 collectors are an insane bunch! :D

Beautiful '78s, I enjoyed seeing them again...and enjoyed seeing them in such great condition. I love the backs of those cards as well!

Ted Martinez and Rick Monday both went yard. A few others had doubles, otherwise a pretty lackluster performance by the 1978 Dodgers. :D

Sweet cards. Do you know a Dodgers collector named Anthony Nex?

That set went on and on and on and on.... didnt think it was going to end.

Its amazing how much better the 1970s cards look when they are mint.

Love that Charlie Hough! Have one of those tucked away in a binder somewhere. Very clean design on the 78's.

It's threads like this that help me make it thru all the prospecting ********. I really look forward to your posts, now how about some more Butler pickups.
Thank you. :D

Congratulations on the awesome set! Of course I'm biased because it's you and it's Dodgers, but I just love those cards. You're the one who got me hooked on Dodge vintage and for that I'm grateful.

I'm just about done with my 75 Dodgers in 9 and 10 btw and will show them off when I get around to scanning.

Good stuff and thanks for sharing.
