I recently got a "vintage" pack of Topps from a dig on my profile, so I requested delivery along with some other cards I traded for.My friend told me and someone he knew received late '80s junk packs, so I was certain I would receive likewise.I see the green wrapper when I opened the envelope and was certain I was stuck with crap, but much to my surprise I saw the '81 copywright on the back of the first card I saw I was relieved to get something worth opening.I didn't think I got anything good at first, so I went back and dug up an old Beckett to see who was in the set, and found out I hit Gibson's rookie (although it was slightly miscut at top corner) Didn't Jones win a Cy Young back in the 70's?I knew Madlock was a good player back in the day, I met Mayberry at Royals Caravan this year, and Spier is a coach for the Reds now.Other than that, I never heard of any of the other players.

So I guess we're stuck with posting thumbnails every time now?

Yes, that's a Tiffany. Sure beats the base Topps from '85.

Weren't they distributed in sets only?I thought somewhere I heard 5000 sets made. This card makes me want to start collecting Cardinals Tiffany cards now.

You can post full images by using a host such as Photobucket - just put in the direct code for the image. Any time you use the uploader that is built in it will thumbnail photos.

Thanks, I knew there used to be a Photobucket icon in the message heading on the old board, didn't see it here though.

It's kind of nice though. You can post thumbnails but then if you click on those - it starts a nice little slideshow through your pics.

In my view, it's nicer than having huge pictures load right within the thread.

I prefer the larger attachments without having to click on them, but at least I can add attachments on all the boards now.I'm used to the thumbnail images on Blowout's board before, so I'm familiar with them.Do we still have to resize the images, or are they automatically resized when you upload them?
