Very cool! I wonder if they're all slabbed...
I saw that when my SI arrived today. Reading the blurb was like watching a bad episode of PAWN STARS or STORAGE WARS where the tv idiots take real world value and inflate it by 4-5x.
I don't know what the $200 per copy BS came from -- other than it's likely your typical Beckett price guide fake value!
You can get raw and slabbed copies for under $40 extremely easily. Griff's stash in my eyes is worth approximately worth $4,000.

BGS 9.5 in 2005 maybe. Although UD probably sent him a block of his RCs 25 years ago that he just left sitting around. If Griffey himself were to sell them, maybe with a letter or, gee, and autograph, I imagine he could get $200 each for them.
