This is the wrong way to list a signed set. You will get set collectors in a bidding war on the deceased common players but you will lose on the star and HOF players with the exception of Clemente and Munson. I just dont see how with all fees and shipping its worthwhile. I been waiting forever for him to list the 77 Topps set.

He tried that through Legendary a month or so ago back, and didn't get the price he wanted.

Please check out his recently completed auctions for near complete 68 and 71 Topps sets. Scott has broken many near complete signed sets including a near complete signed 58 Topps set over the summer. He does very well by breaking the sets up and the sets individually and pulls close to double what the sets go for in near complete form in the auction house listings he buys them from.

this seller knows what he's doing and is a super knowledgeable autographed set collector (I would trust all his stuff), I sold a signed 1972 set (-any clementes and munson, but had the Ted Williams Manager card and some other super tough ones) for a BIN of $3500 a few years ago.

EDIT: I believe the Clemente IA was once is a *** slab, my thoughts were it was good but I guess I should have pulled the trigger.

What are the rarities from this set, other than the obvious.

There's quite a few, list his auctions by highest and the early bidding on guys you've never heard of will indicate who, basically there's a lot of deceased guys. One of my favs was I also had a PSA/DNA slabbed Don Wilson (threw a couple no-no's), very sad story though, he commited suicide but this happened...

"On January 5, 1975, Wilson died at his Fondren Southwest Houston home he shared with his wife, daughter and son. Wilson was found in the passenger seat of his brown Ford Thunderbird inside the garage with the engine running. The garage was attached to the house, which caused his son, Alex, to die also and his daughter and wife be hospitalized in a coma. The official cause of death states that Wilson's death was accidental."
